"THE PARK ON MISSION"

We are called to be God’s people in the world.  We are “The Park On Mission.”  We therefore passionately embrace Matthew 28:19-20: “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and, lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (NKJV)

This is our Great Commission--to be on mission for our God!  “Outreach” in all its many forms is what is meant by “The Park On Mission.”  We serve as ambassadors of God’s Kingdom.  “Outreach” is not simply handing out tracts, sponsoring a feeding ministry, or other forms of benevolence.  It is those things and more.  “Outreach" is YOU!  As we are faithful and obedient to Jesus the Christ, we are “Outreach.”  We are being God’s chosen people, a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation. (1 Peter 2:9).  “Outreach” is our whole heart, our faithful service, and all of our expressions of love and generosity lived out everyday in all areas of our lives.  This is again what we mean by The Park On Mission.  So, let’s go! Let’s be what our Lord calls us to be! The time is far gone and God’s time for us is NOW!  Be blessed.
